Where will you be in school next year?

William Fremd H.S.

How many years have you been in S.C.A.R.F.?

1

What are you most looking forward to by participating in the S.C.A.R.F. Program this year?

I am eager to gain valuable research experience through this program. Given that the research topic,
sudden cardiac death, is closely related to areas I am deeply interested in, I believe this opportunity would allow me to acquire meaningful research experience while engaging with a subject I am passionate about.
Additionally, I am eager to gain experience
collaborating with peers who share similar interests, particularly before I enter college. I believe that exchanging ideas with my fellow participants and
learning from the mentors and doctors involved in this program will provide valuable opportunities to build strong relationships—an essential skill for my future as a student and, ultimately, as a doctor. To learn realworld application of the science subjects I am studying in school, I feel that this program is crucial, as it gives
exposure to real health care professionals. Ultimately, I know that this program will enable me to retain my professional skills, as well as help me build a strong foundation in my research and medical related
knowledge. With this newly gained information, I aim to make a meaningful impact on the community and contribute to the advancement of healthcare.

What do you want people to remember about you?

I want people to remember me as someone who was both passionate and always fascinated about the world around me.
