Meet Our Alumni

I am a pre-medical student at the University of Illinois. I joined SCARF because of my interest in medicine and wanted to learn more about the medical profession. I continue to be a part of SCARF because it reinforced my interest in cardiovascular medicine and I want to continue to help my community by spreading awareness of SCD while also mentoring the newer ambassadors about SCARF's mission. Some fun facts about me: drumming is one of my favorite hobbies and I was a member of the drumline in high school, I love to travel, I love watching football and basketball, and I play intramural tennis on campus.
