Our interns were lucky to have two amazing speakers today. Nurse practitioner, Vanessa, presented a case study on paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and even gave a quiz! Then Robin from the company Medtronic came to teach our students about their new Micra Transcatheter Pacing System - the world’s smallest pacemaker. This incredible device is minimally invasive and doesn’t require the traditional leads that other models require.
