What are you most looking forward to by participating in the S.C.A.R.F. Program this year?
Out of my SCARF 2025 experience, I am hoping to gain more career mentoring to solidify my opinion of going
into the medical field. I would also like to learn about the various medical specialties that exist, especially ones that work with cardiology, which I have taken an interest in after my first year at SCARF. To continue,
professional skills such as presenting and speaking to people in a formal manner are both activities that I would like to improve upon to make my impression more appealing. Building my leadership as well as my
communication skills would serve to help me in the future. Additionally I would like to gain more knowledge and build upon my existing knowledge of the anatomy of the heart and the rest of the body. Lastly, I would like
to strengthen the bonds I had with the other SCARF
interns while learning with them during the SCARF 2025 program.
