What are you most looking forward to by participating in the S.C.A.R.F. Program this year?
I hope to receive further guidance from the S.C.A.R.F. staff in regards to future career choices and what those careers truly entail and if they are a good fit for myself.
I really appreciated Dr. Rubina's career sessions for being realistic and direct in answering my questions and creating a plan that has small and realistic goals that I can work towards to ultimately have a good career. Additionally, I hope to continue researching
topics in the medical field and potentially continuing my past research on sleep apnea and its vast negative impacts. However, I am especially excited and passionate for the S.C.A.R.F. outreach events. With the upcoming volleyball and pickleball tournaments and the second Horsepower for Hearts, I believe that these events are great opportunities to further the mission of S.C.A.R.F. by raising funds, having a good time, and
spreading awareness of cardiac arrest and I hope to be able to participate in and organize these and future events.
