Where will you be in school next year?

How many years have you been in S.C.A.R.F.?

What are you most looking forward to by participating in the S.C.A.R.F. Program this year?
During this SCARF internship, I'm hoping to gather new knowledge of both what working in a clinic is like, including the discipline required and what tasks must be done, as well as information on the human body itself and its functions. I hope to improve my skills on finding and applying research, as well finding a bit more confidence in my presentational abilities and interactions with important people. Additionally, I hope to find new friends and work with students that share the same mindset and goals as mine!
What's a fun fact about you?
My current favorite book is The Courage to be Disliked by Fumitake Koga and Ichiro Kishimi. Although I don't necessarily agree with some of the other ideas in this book, it has taught me how every feeling, every event, and every person you encounter can be viewed differently based on your mindset. Though this may seem obvious, the extent to which your mind can control what you are capable of and your mental well-being is far greater than what I had previously understood, and it changed my perception of how to go about both my daily and more crucial inconveniences.
