Meet the Class
Where will you be in school next year?
Senior at South Elgin H.S.
How many years have you been in S.C.A.R.F.?
What made you want to join S.C.A.R.F.?
The selfless service that SCARF showcases through their various community events inspire me to spread awareness about Cardiac Health. Dr. Nguyen and the SCARF team are prime examples of going above and beyond for a cause that is so dear to all of us. They dedicate their summers to create a memorable experience for all the SCARF interns. SCARF gives me the opportunity to apply the knowledge I learn to real-life situations. I am truly honored to be a part of SCARF because together we can further the mission of educating our community about Cardiac Health, and that can save many lives.
What are you hoping to get out of S.C.A.R.F. this year?
I hope to learn how to imbibe the core values of SCARF(teamwork, critical thinking, and higher education) into my life. I want to become more knowledgeable about Cardiac Health, so I can help educate our community. I am excited to engage in valuable conversations with the SCARF team to learn how to be an ideal Philanthropist who is dedicated to spreading awareness about Cardiac Health.
What's a fun fact about you?
